End of Harvest Fermentation Class + 4-Course Dinner & Drinks

Bluebeard’s staff is beaming with talent and we just can’t keep it to ourselves any longer. Our very own Caleb Waggoner will be guiding us through a night of fermentation on the heels of the first frost for an end of Harvest fermentation class and dinner. We will learn how to preserve what we’ve grown in our gardens this season, how to make a few familiar fermented products, how to experiment with fermented substances and a few unique and unusual foods that you wouldn’t think about fermenting. We will dig deep into the science of fermentation and touch on the differences between fermentation, pickling & curing. We’ll discuss how bacteria, yeast, alcohol and sugar all play into fermentation while snacking on Amelia’s bread, charcuterie & cheese, assorted pickles, and mixed olives—all fermented foods.

The class will be followed by a 4-Course Dinner that features fermented products in the most delightful and thoughtful way. All tips go directly to Caleb.
